Baby Shower Number Two.

This was our second friends baby shower.  Jenn had asked me if I would make invations for her shower, and the theme of the baby shower was monkey.  There really isn't any monkey paper out that states "baby shower".  So, I ended up draw this out and making copies until it was large enough that I could look at the draw and pull apart the peices so I was able to cut the out, by hand the same thing over and over again.  The first order was for about 50 invations.  Once I finished the first 50 and delivered them, they need 40 more, but they stated that it didn't need to be the monkey inviation, and it was a good thing becaused I wouldn't have been able to finich them in time.  So, you see in the back groud the simple version.  But Jenn was very happy with both.  Then they wanted to have a banner for the party and the babies arrival.  They wanted monkies hang from the banner, in between the words.  I really love this banner because it turn out so well.  I thought it was down right cute.
Noah was born in October and the Jenn is at home enjoying her new little one.  And Grandma Bertha can't get enough of him.  I hope all the best to there new family.  And thank you for the oppurtunity to use my craft for you family.

Baby Shower Number One.

In the minst of the Fourth of July fun, I completed baby shower invitations for Baby Danica (Cute little nugget, now) and the soon to be parents Doloris and Dee.  This was a great invitation to make for any occasion.  The actual invitation was inside the pocket along with directions and registry for the present.  Good luck to the new parent.  They had Danica in August.

The top and bottom came apart because I wanted the person that they invited to have eaesy access to the information.

Other Decor for the Fourth of July

Thanks would have to go out to one of my sister, who I love so much, Cindy.  She was the one the made hundred of the stars for my wedding reception.  She was about to teach me how to make the wire stars.  The only changes I made was the color of the glitter and I link them together like a chain, with ribbon and twine.  We loved to hang them in the arches of our hour.

Baby Clothes

This is almost the same idea of the flowers on the card, but I added a button on the top of the flower, plus the leafs.  Also, I added the ribbon the neck line.  The pink one is my favorite.

Fourth of July

Making the traditional blocks, but I didn't have any Fourth of July paper.  But one thing that I did have was red and blue paper, with different patterns.  I cut the star with my cricut and placed them all over the blocks.
I was at Michael's just picking up of couple of things that I need and I went down the clearance row and they had multiple things for a dollar this was one of the wood peices.  I paint majority of the stars and added the stars on the red stars.  Also, the ribbon that I used was from the Scrapbooking Convention.  It was a Bo Bunny product.  I love the Bo Bunny designs.

Orginally. my sister Cindy had made the star for my center peice at my wedding.  She had shown me how to make the stars and so I thought it would be a great swag for the Fourth of July.  So,  I made a large quinty.  I covered each star with red, blue or silver glitter.  I stung the stars with white ribbin.

Thanks you cards...

This was cards that I had made to give to the people that made dinner for my family, while I was in the hospital and when I was home getting better.  I love the flower on this one.  The fabric of the ribbon just made a great look at texter.

Spring/ Easter

I really didn't have enough time for creating craft projects Spring/ Easter, Mike was out of town and I was help the church Relief Soceity group with the bulltin board.
The flowers were going to be for the buttin board for Relief Soceity, but they wanted something different.  I really didn't want to have the flowers go to waste, so I got some pot at the dollar spot at Target.  Once I go the flowers together, it made a beautiful arangement.  So, some of the flowers were give away to good friend, but I kept one.
I alway like having block for the top of the refrigerator.  I had Easter paper from "We R Memory Keepers".  One paper had bunnies and the other had easter eggs.  I was going to use the glossy Mod Podge, but when I got to the store I noticed that they had sparkle Mod Podge.  The Sparkles gave the block a nice flare.

Mother's Day Present

This was my mother's day gift for my mom.  But I can't take all the credit for this, Mike came up with the idea of putting the beads on the cavus.

Valentines Decorations

These are a few valentines things that completed this year.  I know how hard it is craft during Christmas and Valentine's day, because your usually making cards or presents for others.  But you still need to take the time to do something that you like to do.

Large Portraits with Family Picture

These are the Large Portraits with multiple family picture.  I've completed a few of  these as presents, but also they are convent for larger families that don't live close together.  I've competed one of these for my in-laws and made it so if a new portraits was received they could change it out.

Halloween of 2010

I love decorating my house for the holiday's, but my son Court would rather skip Halloween.  I had made eyes, bat wings and witches fingers from polymers clay and he didn't want to have anything to do with them.  My favorite craft that I made this Halloween is the Alice in Wonderland "Tree of Life".  I loved the Mad Hatter's hat, it was my favorite thing on the tree.

Christmas Crafts...

Christmas is a great time to make new crafts come to life.  My kids always like to send a letters to Santa and that's why we made the mail box.  It was a place to put the letters and and place for Santa to pick up.

Thanksgiving....

This was a topper for a calender that I made for the month of Novemer.  I had it on a cookie sheet.  Gobble!Gobble!
